The food tastes just like golden dairy! 10/10! The lady at the register was super sweet and I couldn’t help but notice their fish tank, I love watching fish. I’ll definitely be back.
Oct.16/2024 Loved that they opend @ 6am, for those early risers like us and for a good home style cooked meal, not the fast food. Food is all fresh. Very friendly staff, service was quick and great. Pricing is very reasonable. Sorry, forgot to take pictures that we had ordered a BLT and Country Ham Combo.
Fri July 26, 2023 This is our 4th time here Today was catfish day but I didn't have that but my husband did with fries, slaw and hush puppies with an unsweetened tea. I had a Triple Decker Clyde with turkey, fries and coleslaw along with sweet tea. The coleslaw was delicious and so creamy. My husband even gave me his slaw. And the sandwich was also delicious. And you should try their chicken and dumplings on Wednesdays and chicken pot pies ok n Sundays. We'll be coming back for sure. --------------------- 3 months ago We had good service and the waitress was very friendly. We had the Sunday special Chicken Pot pie with 3 sides. The meal was simple but good. The plates were big and we had to take the rest home. The apple cobbler was delicious with vanilla ice cream. This place reminds me of Stanley, New Brunswick Canada. Where everyone is friendly and they come up to see you to say hi. We will definitely be coming back!
We like the delicious BBQ sandwich on Wednesday evenings and return often for the catfish plate on Friday! Every menu choice we have had is yummy in the tummy. It's the best restaurant in town, casual, friendly staff, and you may see your neighbors & friends there, too!
Amazing service. Amazing and friendliest staff. And the food was awe my gosh I'm a very picky eater and I loved everything the hush puppies were the best I've ever we had both hams, fries and gravy biscuits and gravy, pork chops and mashed taters whipped so good ,corn, apple cobble fixed just right tea was perfect, I had ice water so good. I had the best experience. Thanks to our waitress Lord she's a Yankee just like me and everyone know I ha e dementia and so much memory loss I already forgot her name. But her pic is up. The had a pretty big party going on and the front dinning room didn't know it we we're still checked on new people came in and their orders were taken within a minute of them coming in. They were faster than a lot of restaurants around,and I'd put money on it, it's the best around
Southside Restaurant is such a great "Small Town" Rogersville, TN Welcoming! If anyone is ever passing through or in the area, looking for good quality/quantity/& of course, a cheaper meal... with or without your group of people to enjoy it with ya?! Southside restaurant is the place to go! This is an ALL DAY BREAKFAST/LunchDinner "family restaurant" with the BEST fresh brewed Sweet Tea Coffee! I love it here, the food is great, the prices are FANTASTIC, and not to mention... awesome service! Come on in & enjoy it for yourself?!!! "Southside's Western Omlet" is always my 'Go To' when I order there! But the menu has a solid variety of choices! Let's see who likes to eat- what the most?(:
I ordered via DoorDash. I’ve lived here for three years (!!) and I wanted to try out a local place. I’ve intended to for a long time, but finally got around to it today. The food was wonderful! I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but I was very pleased. The food was fresh, and the best part for me was being able to get a chocolate milk! I’ll definitely eat here again.
My wife and I decided to try Southside again since new owners took over. Boy are we glad we did. I had a bacon double cheeseburger with fries and my wife had a cheeseburger with fries. We also had a side of delicious broccoli and cheese bites. The food is delicious and well made! The service was excellent and prompt! I highly recommend trying this place for a delicious home style meal. We will definitely be going back again! Even the new owners are involved with your experience there as Danny was going around to the tables and asking customers if everything was good. That’s not something you see anymore. It shows that the new owners really care! Keep up the great work Southside Restaurant!!
